Loading Additional OZI EXPLORER maps into the Hema Navigator

Step1: Load Map disk

Step 2: Open map folder select and copy map file

Step 3: The file copied must be .ozf2 or .ozfx3 formats

Step 4: If the maps are not in .ozf2 or .ozfx3 formats, a conversion program is avaliable from: http://www.oziexplorer3.com/img2ozf/img2ozf.html

Step 5: Remove SD card from Hema Navigator

Step 6: Put SD in the computers card reader

Step 7: Go to my computer

Step 8: Open the SD card

 

Step 9: Open the folder Ozi Explorer maps folder

And paste the map file off the cd into the Hema regional maps folder

By pasting into the hema folder you will not have to create a new directory in the Hema Navigator

If you do create a new folder on the SD card for your maps, you must set the Map Path to this folder. On the Hema Navigator select FILE > CONFIGURATION > MAP & DATA FILES

 

 

You can create new map folders (maximum of 6) these will need to be selected in the configuration setting on the Hema Navigator by:

Please note you may require larger SD Card if you want to load multiple maps.
