FAQ's - HEMA Navigator (4.3")
Having trouble with your Hema Navigator?
 Read through the FAQ section as many questions have already been asked and answered.
General Hema Navigator Questions::

Q: Who do I contact for support?
A: Contact the retailer the purchase was made from.

Q: Where can I purchase the Hema Navigator from?
A: Visit our dealers section Here

Q: How much does the Hema Navigator cost?
A: The recommended price of the Hema Navigator is $990 inc GST.

Q: What is the warranty for the Hema Navigator?
A: The warranty is one year (twelve months).

Q: What is the largest SD Card the Navigator supports?
A: 16gb SanDisk cards have been tested successfully on the Hema Navigator.

Q: When I tap the screen on the Hema navigator the calibration or the alignment is out and it registers the tap in the incorrect position. How do I fix this issue?
A: To overcome this issue, on the main menu of your Hema Navigator, tap Tools, the green next page arrow, then press system and finally press the calibrate button. Simply follow the directions on screen from this point.

 

Street Navigation Questions (Route 66):

Q: I can't find an address I am certain exists.
A: Route 66's street navigation uses a search engine to find addresses. The most convenient and accurate way to find an address is NUMBER, SPACE, First 3 letters of the street, SPACE, First 3 letters of the suburb. The Hema Navigator will display matches for that address (if there is more than 1). Select the appropriate address and press tick. You do not need to enter the road type, such as st, street, rd, road, ave, crt, way etc.

Q: My time is incorrect in Route 66, how do I set the correct time?
A: To set the time go to the main menu, scroll down and press settings. Then select the Date & Time button. Set the correct Time Zone, Date and Time settings. Note: You can also press the Synchronise with GPS button at the bottom of that screen to get the time.

Q: My Hema Navigator came with a Route 66 DVD, do I need to use this DVD?
A: To operate the Hema Navigator there is no need to install any software. For update purposes you only need to install ActiveSync (Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows Vista & 7) which can be freely downloaded from the Microsoft Download Centre.

Q: How do I update & download extra information for Route 66 Street navigation software?
A: To update route 66 you will need to connect your Hema Navigator to a computer with ActiveSync (Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Centre (Windows Vista & 7) and an internet connection. If your computer doesn’t have ActiveSync or WMDC, these can be freely downloaded from the Microsoft Download Centre. Once you are connected to your computer and synchronised, go to the Route 66 Main Menu, then tap the Extras icon. From here you can either update or download any extra items such as Maps, Traffic information, Safety Cameras, Voices, Colour Schemes and Travel Guides.
